he Series 3000MR Photohelic® Switch/Gage combine the functions of a precise, highly repeatable differential pressure switch with a large easy-to-read analog pressure gage employing the durable, time-proven Magnehelic® gage design. Switch setting is easy to adjust with large external knobs on the gage face. Gage reading is unaffected by switch operation - will indicate accurately even if power is interrupted. Solid state design now results in greatly reduced size and weight. Units can be flush mounted in 4-13/16" hole or surface mounted with hardware supplied. 3000MR models employ versatile electromechanical relays with gold over silver contacts - ideal for dry circuits.

Gage accuracy is ±2% of full scale and switch repeatability is ±1%. Switch deadband is one pointer width - less than 1% of full scale. Compatible with air and other non-combustible, non-corrosive gases, they can be used in systems with pressures to 25 psig.

FAQs of Dwyer 3100MRS Photohelic Switch/Gauge 0 to 100 inch:

Q: How do I install the Dwyer 3100MRS Photohelic Switch/Gauge?

A: Mount the gauge vertically using either a flush or surface mount as indicated in the included instruction manual and use the provided mounting bracket. Connect process lines to the two 1/8" NPT female ports and ensure the power supply is 120 VAC/60Hz.

Q: What types of media can the Dwyer 3100MRS measure?

A: This device is specifically designed for measuring the pressure of air and compatible non-corrosive gases within process systems.

Q: Where can the Dwyer 3100MRS Photohelic Switch/Gauge be used?

A: It is well-suited for industrial environments such as HVAC systems, clean rooms, filter monitoring setups, and general process control applications, particularly where durable and reliable air pressure measurement is required.

Q: What is the benefit of having dual SPDT switches in this gauge?

A: The dual SPDT switches allow for precise control of multiple processes, enabling automatic start/stop or alarm activation when the pressure reaches preset levels, thereby enhancing safety and system efficiency.

Q: How is zero adjustment performed on the Dwyer 3100MRS?

A: Zero adjustment can be easily done externally using the adjustment knob located on the front panel, ensuring quick calibration without disassembling the unit.

Q: What is the maximum pressure the device can withstand?

A: The maximum pressure capacity for the Dwyer 3100MRS is 25 psi (1.72 bar), making it suitable for typical low-pressure air and gas monitoring tasks.

Q: When should the device be recalibrated or serviced?

A: For optimal accuracy, it is recommended to recalibrate or inspect the device annually, or as required by your applications maintenance standards, especially if used in critical process control environments.
