he Series 3000MR Photohelic® Switch/Gage combine the functions of a precise, highly repeatable differential pressure switch with a large easy-to-read analog pressure gage employing the durable, time-proven Magnehelic® gage design. Switch setting is easy to adjust with large external knobs on the gage face. Gage reading is unaffected by switch operation - will indicate accurately even if power is interrupted. Solid state design now results in greatly reduced size and weight. Units can be flush mounted in 4-13/16" hole or surface mounted with hardware supplied. 3000MR models employ versatile electromechanical relays with gold over silver contacts - ideal for dry circuits.

Gage accuracy is ±2% of full scale and switch repeatability is ±1%. Switch deadband is one pointer width - less than 1% of full scale. Compatible with air and other non-combustible, non-corrosive gases, they can be used in systems with pressures to 25 psig.

Robust Differential Pressure Monitoring

Utilizing a diaphragm-based sensor, the 3003MRS Photohelic provides precise monitoring and control of differential pressure for air and compatible gases. Designed for industrial environments, it handles pressures up to 25 psig (1.7 bar), ensuring reliable operation in demanding conditions. Its external adjustment knobs and fast switching response offer practical and efficient operation.

User-Friendly Design and Installation

The 3003MRS features front-accessible set point adjustment knobs and an easy-to-read analog display, simplifying calibration and monitoring. The units 4-inch die-cast aluminum case allows for flush or surface mounting, while 1/8 NPT female connections make plumbing straightforward. Supplied with mounting hardware and a detailed installation manual, setup is hassle-free for professionals.

FAQs of Dwyer 3003MRS Photohelic Switch/Gauge 0 to 3 inch:

Q: How do I adjust the set points on the Dwyer 3003MRS Photohelic Switch/Gauge?

A: Set points can be easily adjusted externally using the front knobs. Simply turn the appropriate knob while observing the analog display to calibrate your desired high and low pressure thresholds. No tools or case removal are required.

Q: What are the primary benefits of using the 3003MRS Photohelic in HVAC or industrial applications?

A: This Photohelic gauge combines accurate differential pressure measurement with fast-response switching, improving system control and safety. Its 2% accuracy, fast relay response, and visible analog display help optimize performance, reduce downtime, and protect equipment.

Q: Where can the 3003MRS be installed, and what mounting options are available?

A: The unit can be flush or surface mounted, offering installation flexibility for control panels or walls. The provided mounting hardware and installation manual enable secure placement in general-purpose indoor locations (NEMA 1 rated).

Q: What types of media can be measured with this device?

A: The 3003MRS is designed to measure the differential pressure of air and compatible gases only. It is not suitable for liquids or corrosive gases outside the listed compatibility.

Q: When should the switchs repeatability and accuracy be considered during operation?

A: If precise control is needed in automated processes, the units 1% repeatability and 2% full-scale accuracy ensure consistent switching and precise measurements. This is vital during calibration, maintenance, or system troubleshooting.

Q: What electrical requirements and ratings does the 3003MRS Photohelic have?

A: The device requires 120 VAC (60 Hz) power and its SPDT relays are rated for 5A at either 120 or 240 VAC, making it suitable for most industrial and building automation power setups.
