MORE ABOUT THIS ITEM

The Magnahelic guage is the industry standard to measure fan and blower pressures, filter resistance, air velocity, furnace draft, pressure drop across orifice plates, liquid levels with bubbler systems, and pressures in fluid amplifier or fluidic systems. The gauge's motion is damped with high-viscosity silicone fluid. The zero adjustment screw is conveniently located in the plastic cover, and is accessible without removing the cover. O-ring seal provides pressure tightness. Rugged design resists shock, vibration, and overpressure.

The helix is precision-made from an alloy of high magnetic permeability. Mounted in jeweled bearings, it turns freely, following the maganetic field to move the pointer across the scale. The samarium cobalt magnet is mounted at one end of the range spring and rotates the helix without mechanical linkages.

The acrylic cover, silicone rubber seals, and high shock resistance provide long-lasting performance and protect sensitive components even under challenging conditions.

Precision Measurement and Instant Response

This differential pressure gauge measures accurately within a scale range of 10-0-10 Inch WC for air or non-corrosive gas applications. With an impressive 2% accuracy and instantaneous response time, users can confidently monitor critical processes or HVAC systems and quickly detect pressure changes for optimal safety and efficiency.

Versatile Mounting and Easy Setup

Offering both surface and flush mounting options, rear 1/8 NPT threaded connections, and a full-view dial, setup is straightforward. Included accessoriessuch as mounting hardware and pressure connectionsalong with an external zero adjustment feature, support hassle-free installation and calibration, making it convenient for various trades and industries.

FAQs of Dwyer USA Magnehelic Gauges 10-0-10 Inch WC:

Q: How do I install the Dwyer USA Magnehelic Gauge for optimal performance?

A: Mount the gauge on a flat surface or flush panel using the provided screws. Connect the 1/8 NPT rear threaded pressure connections to your air or non-corrosive gas lines. Use the external zero adjustment to ensure accurate readings after installation.

Q: What type of media can the Magnehelic Gauge measure?

A: This model is designed to measure differential pressure of air or non-corrosive gases only. It should not be used with corrosive gases, liquids, or aggressive chemical environments.

Q: When should external zero adjustment be performed?

A: Zero adjustment should be checked and performed during the initial installation, after transportation, or whenever the readings appear inaccurate. This ensures the gauge maintains its stated 2% full scale accuracy.

Q: Where can the Magnehelic Gauge be used?

A: It is ideal for use in industrial settings such as HVAC systems, filter monitoring, clean rooms, and process controls. Its shock resistance and IP40 enclosure allow reliable operation in standard factory or equipment room conditions.

Q: What process ensures sustained accuracy and longevity of the gauge?

A: Regularly inspect the gauge to confirm proper zero adjustment and ensure the air or gas being measured is free of moisture and particulates that might enter the sensor. Following the provided instruction manual for setup and use will help preserve accuracy and extend the devices service life.

Q: How does the Magnehelic Gauge benefit industrial applications?

A: With high shock resistance, precise readings, and instantaneous response, the gauge supports the safe and efficient monitoring of critical processes, helping prevent equipment failure and maintain consistent air quality or system pressure.
