MORE ABOUT THIS ITEM

The Magnahelic guage is the industry standard to measure fan and blower pressures, filter resistance, air velocity, furnace draft, pressure drop across orifice plates, liquid levels with bubbler systems, and pressures in fluid amplifier or fluidic systems. The gauge's motion is damped with high-viscosity silicone fluid. The zero adjustment screw is conveniently located in the plastic cover, and is accessible without removing the cover. O-ring seal provides pressure tightness. Rugged design resists shock, vibration, and overpressure.

The helix is precision-made from an alloy of high magnetic permeability. Mounted in jeweled bearings, it turns freely, following the maganetic field to move the pointer across the scale. The samarium cobalt magnet is mounted at one end of the range spring and rotates the helix without mechanical linkages.

Exceptional Performance for Industrial Applications

Engineered as an industrial-grade solution, the Magnehelic Gauge stands out for its superior accuracy (2% of full scale) and its ability to withstand tough working conditions. Its broad temperature range (-20C to +60C) and overpressure tolerance (up to 100 kPa) make it indispensable in HVAC, clean room, and other controlled environments.

User-Friendly Design and Versatile Installation

With flexible back and side port connections, an external zero adjustment knob, and compatibility with surface, panel, or wall mounting, setup and calibration are straightforward. The inclusion of mounting accessories and a clear instruction manual makes installation and usage hassle-free.

FAQs of Sensocon USA Magnehelic Gauges 0 To 300 MM WC:

Q: How does the Sensocon Magnehelic Gauge measure differential pressure?

A: This Magnehelic Gauge uses a precision diaphragm and mechanical movement to detect and analogically display the difference in air or non-corrosive gas pressure between two points. It provides clear readings on a dial ranging from 0 to 300 mm WC.

Q: What are the suitable applications for this pressure gauge?

A: The device is ideal for HVAC systems, clean rooms, filter monitoring, fan and blower testing, and measuring duct static pressure. Its robust construction and compliance with CE and RoHS standards make it reliable for industrial settings.

Q: When should zero adjustment be performed on the Magnehelic Gauge?

A: Zero adjustment should be conducted before initial use and periodically thereafter to ensure maximum measurement accuracy. The external knob allows for quick re-zeroing without any disassembly.

Q: Where can this gauge be mounted for optimal performance?

A: It can be installed on a panel, wall, or any flat surface using the provided mounting brackets and screws. The choice depends on visibility and accessibility based on application location.

Q: What process is involved in installing and connecting the gauge?

A: Attach the gauge using the supplied brackets and screws, then connect the 1/8 NPT ports to your differential pressure source (air or non-corrosive gases). Follow the instruction manual for best performance and sealing with silicone rubber or neoprene.

Q: What benefits does using this gauge offer for filter and duct monitoring?

A: By providing precise, real-time pressure readings, the Magnehelic Gauge enables timely filter maintenance and optimizes air system efficiency, reducing downtime and extending equipment lifespan.
