FAQs of Mark II Model 40-1-AV Dwyer Manometer Range 0-1.1 Inches w.c:
Q: How do I set up the Mark II Model 40-1-AV Dwyer Manometer for pressure measurements?
A: Begin by securely mounting the manometer using the provided hardware, either on a wall or surface. Connect your systems air sample lines to the two 3/16" ID rubber tubing ports. Add the supplied red gauge liquid to the required minimum level as indicated in the manual, and ensure the unit is positioned horizontally for accurate readings.
Q: What types of gases can be measured with this manometer?
A: The Mark II Model 40-1-AV is suitable for air and non-corrosive gases only. It is ideal for HVAC, laboratory, and industrial applications requiring measurement of air or similar gas differentials within the range of 0 to 1.1 inches w.c.
Q: Where can I use the Mark II Model 40-1-AV Manometer?
A: This manometer is well-suited for indoor environments such as laboratories, HVAC system testing, clean rooms, and any setting where precise air differential pressure measurements are needed. Its robust acrylic construction and portable case facilitate easy use at various work sites.
Q: What is the measuring process for the Mark II Model 40-1-AV?
A: After mounting and connecting the manometer to the system with rubber tubing, fill it with the supplied red gauge liquid. When differential pressure is applied, the liquid level will shift along the analog scale, allowing direct reading of pressure values. Resolution is 0.01 inches w.c, with an accuracy of 0.05 inches w.c or 2% of full scale.
Q: What are the benefits of using this inclined tube manometer compared to other types?
A: The Mark II Model 40-1-AV offers superior accuracy and resolution for low-range pressure measurements, thanks to its inclined tube design. Its analog scale allows straightforward, direct readings without the need for batteries or electronic calibration. The clear acrylic body ensures visibility and durability, and its portability simplifies field use.
Q: Is the Mark II Model 40-1-AV compliant with environmental and industrial standards?
A: Yes, the instrument is RoHS compliant, ensuring it meets standards for restricting hazardous substances and environmental safetymaking it suitable for use across various regulated industries in India.
