Bezel provides flange for flush mounting in panel. Clear plastic face is highly resistant to breakage. Provides undistorted viewing of pointer and scale.

Dwyer 2300-00 Differential Pressure Gage

Dwyer 2300-00 Differential pressure gage, range 0.125-0-0.125" w.c. (inches of water), minor divisions .005, calibrated for vertical scale position

Using Dwyer's simple, frictionless Magnehelic gage movement, it quickly indicates low air or non-corrosive gas pressures--either positive, negative (vacuum) or differential. The design resists shock, vibration and over-pressures. No manometer fluid to evaporate, freeze or cause toxic or leveling problems. It's inexpensive, too.

The Magnehelic gage is the industry standard to measure fan and blower pressures, filter resistance, air velocity, furnace draft, pressure drop across orifice plates, liquid levels with bubbler systems and pressures in fluid amplifier or fluidic systems. It also checks gas-air ratio controls and automatic valves, and monitors blood and respiratory pressures in medical care equipment.

Note: May be used with Hydrogen. Order a Buna-N diaphragm. Pressures must be less than 35 psi.

With its diaphragm sensor and analog display, users can instantly monitor air and non-combustible gases, making it a trusted choice for industrial and laboratory environments requiring stringent air quality and system integrity.

Engineered for Versatile Applications

Designed for filter, fan, blower, and clean room pressure monitoring, this Magnehelic gage is adaptable to various scenarios through its 1/8" NPT ports and comprehensive mounting accessories. The rugged, IP52-rated enclosure ensures reliable operation in splash-prone settings, supporting both surface and flush mounting for flexible installation.

FAQs of Dwyer USA Model 2300-00 Magnehelic Gage Range 0.125-0-0.125 Inch WC:

Q: How do I install the Dwyer 2300-00 Magnehelic Gage for optimal performance?

A: To ensure optimum accuracy, mount the gauge vertically (standard orientation) using the provided mounting adapters and screws. Connect high and low pressure sources to the respective 1/8" NPT ports, ensuring airtight connections. Detailed installation instructions are included with the product.

Q: What media can the Model 2300-00 measure, and are there any restrictions?

A: This gage is designed specifically to measure differential pressure of air and non-combustible gases. It is not suitable for use with liquids, combustible gases, or aggressive chemicals that may harm the internal components.

Q: When should I use the zero adjustment feature of this Magnehelic gage?

A: The external zero adjustment enables users to recalibrate the pointer to zero when the device is not under pressure. This is particularly useful during initial setup or periodic maintenance to ensure measurement accuracy is maintained over time.

Q: What benefits does the 2300-00 Magnehelic Gage offer in cleanroom and filter monitoring?

A: With a resolution of 0.01 Inch WC and 2% full scale accuracy, the gage provides sensitive and reliable monitoring of slight pressure differences, which is critical in maintaining cleanroom standards and optimizing filter performance.

Q: Where can this model be mounted, and what mounting accessories are included?

A: The device supports both surface and flush mounting, allowing flexible placement according to user needs. It is supplied with three mounting adapters, screws, two 1/8 NPT plugs, and rubber tubing adapters for seamless installation.

Q: What is the process for maintaining and caring for the Dwyer 2300-00 Magnehelic Gage?

A: Routine maintenance involves keeping the acrylic lens and ports clean, ensuring the cover is securely fastened, and checking for zero drift using the external adjustment. Avoid exposing the unit to pressures above 15 psi or to particulate-laden air which could block the ports.
