Dwyer 1910-1 Compact Low Differential Pressure Switch

Range 0.40-1.6" W.C.

DESCRIPTION

Most popular SERIES 1900 combines advanced design and precision construction to make these switches able to perform many of the tasks of larger, costlier units. Designed for air conditioning service, they also serve many fluidics, refrigeration, oven and dryer applications. Series 1900 switches have set points from 0.07 to 20" w.c. (1.8 to 508 mm). Set point adjustment is easy with range screw located inside conduit enclosure. Internal location helps prevent tampering.

Compact size and repeatability, provides a high-value switch for many industrial and OEM applications.

Range screw protected inside enclosure provides simplifies making adjustments but prevents tampering.

Reliable Pressure Monitoring for Demanding Applications

The Dwyer 1910-1 switch excels in environments where accurate differential pressure control is vital, such as HVAC systems and industrial air filtration. Thanks to its internal screw adjustment and robust construction, it provides consistent, repeatable operation with minimal maintenance. The IP54 rated die-cast aluminum enclosure ensures longevity and resistance to harsh conditions.

Simple Installation and Versatile Connections

Designed for straightforward surface mounting, the switch includes four mounting holes and clearly labeled screw terminals. Two barbed process fittings accommodate standard 1/4 inch I.D. tubing, while the 1/8 female NPT thread further simplifies integration into existing systems. No special tools or expert training are required for installation or adjustment.

FAQs of Dwyer 1910-1 Compact Low Differential Pressure Switch, Range 0.40-1.6" W.C.:

Q: How does the Dwyer 1910-1 pressure switch operate?

A: The Dwyer 1910-1 operates by activating its SPDT snap switch when the sensed differential pressure reaches the set point. Once triggered, it switches the connected electrical circuit for control or monitoring purposes.

Q: What is the process for adjusting the set point on this pressure switch?

A: Set point adjustment is achieved internally using a screw adjustment mechanism. Simply open the enclosure to access the adjustment screw, then fine-tune as needed for your desired differential pressure, within the 0.40-1.6" w.c. range.

Q: Where can the Dwyer 1910-1 be installed?

A: The switch is designed for surface mounting, using the four provided holes. Its compact and sturdy build enables installation within HVAC equipment, filter housings, or control panels in commercial or industrial facilities.

Q: When should this differential pressure switch be used?

A: The Dwyer 1910-1 is suitable whenever precise monitoring or control of low differential air or non-combustible, non-corrosive gas pressure is required, such as for air filters, fans, and general HVAC system applications.

Q: What media can be monitored using this switch?

A: The 1910-1 is compatible with air and other non-combustible, non-corrosive gases, making it suitable for a wide range of industrial and commercial applications.

Q: What are the benefits of using this switch in HVAC systems?

A: This switch provides accurate pressure monitoring, rapid response, and high repeatability, which help optimize system performance, prevent filter clogging, reduce downtime, and support safe and efficient operation.
