DESCRIPTION

Most popular SERIES 1900 combines advanced design and precision construction to make these switches able to perform many of the tasks of larger, costlier units. Designed for air conditioning service, they also serve many fluidics, refrigeration, oven and dryer applications. Series 1900 switches have set points from 0.07 to 20" w.c. (1.8 to 508 mm). Set point adjustment is easy with range screw located inside conduit enclosure. Internal location helps prevent tampering.

Compact size and repeatability, provides a high-value switch for many industrial and OEM applications.

Range screw protected inside enclosure provides simplifies making adjustments but prevents tampering.

Precision Pressure Sensing for HVAC Systems

Ideal for monitoring filters, fan control, and airflow proofing, the Dwyer 1910-00 reliably triggers electrical circuits when low air pressure thresholds are met. Its compact, robust construction, along with a silicone rubber diaphragm and silver alloy contacts, ensures longevity and consistent performance in demanding environments.

Easy Calibration and Reliable Installation

The pressure switch features an internal screw-type set point adjustment, providing secure and tamper-resistant calibration. Surface mounting holes and a compact 4-inch diameter design facilitate straightforward installation, while barbed fittings support 3/16 inch I.D. tubing for seamless system integration.

FAQs of Dwyer 1910-00 Compact Low Differential Pressure Switch, Range 0.07 - 0.15" W.C.:

Q: How is the set point on the Dwyer 1910-00 pressure switch adjusted?

A: The set point is adjusted using a screw located inside the housing. This internal adjustment allows for precise and secure calibration of the pressure switch to your desired actuation threshold within the 0.07 to 0.15" W.C. range.

Q: What applications can benefit from the Dwyer 1910-00 pressure switch?

A: This switch is suited for HVAC systems, specifically in filter monitoring, fan control, and airflow proofing, as well as in any application that requires sensing low differential air pressure in non-combustible, compatible gas environments.

Q: When should the Dwyer 1910-00 be used in a control system?

A: Use the Dwyer 1910-00 whenever precise detection and switching at low air pressure differences is needed, helping to protect equipment, alert for maintenance, or verify airflow in critical HVAC or process systems.

Q: Where should the pressure switch be mounted?

A: The device is intended for indoor surface mounting using the provided holes, in environments compatible with its NEMA 1 (IP20) rating, which includes most standard HVAC and equipment rooms.

Q: What is the process for electrical connection and installation?

A: Connect the device via the screw terminal strip provided inside the enclosure. To install, mount the switch on a flat surface using the pre-drilled holes and attach 3/16 inch I.D. tubing to the barbed pressure ports.

Q: What benefits does the Dwyer 1910-00 offer over traditional differential switches?

A: Its compact size, high repeatability (0.02" W.C.), instantaneous response, and robust mechanical life (over one million cycles) ensure superior reliability and ease of integration into modern HVAC and air-handling systems.
