About Digital Differential Pressure Gauge - Series A2
Digital Differential Pressure Gauge - Series A2
The Series A2 digital differential pressure gauge is a patented microprocessor based digital pressure gage for positive, negative, and differential measurement designed to be a direct replacement for mechanical gauges. The Series A2 differential pressure gauges utilize an extremely stable piezoresistive sensing technology to give a standard full scale accuracy of 1%. For applications requiring better accuracy, the A2 is also available with 0.5% or 0.25% accuracy. The A2 digital differential pressure gauge also has an optional 4-20 mA output for applications requiring an output signal. The A2 features a bright ½" LED display and process arch, which gives the gauge improved readability and precision. The A2 digital differential pressure gauges also feature 5 user selectable engineering units including in. w.c., mm w.c., cm w.c., kPa, and Pa. The Series A2 offers an improved look, and performance compare to mechanical gauges. Customizing Options Available |
Precise Measurement and VersatilityThis digital gauge offers high accuracy for differential pressure monitoring in HVAC systems, cleanrooms, and other critical applications. The selectable units and zero adjustment feature ensure adaptability to various measurement requirements. Its capacity to measure up to 2000 Pa, with up to 10 kPa overpressure protection, caters to a broad range of industrial uses.
Easy Installation and Simple OperationWith a wall mount design and 1/8 NPT female thread, installation is straightforward. The matte black ABS casing and digital LCD eliminate the need for analog dials or moving pointers. Push-button zero adjustment on the front panel and user-friendly unit selection enhance operational convenience for technicians and end-users.
FAQs of Digital Differential Pressure Gauge - Series A2:
Q: How do I adjust the zero reading on the Series A2 Digital Differential Pressure Gauge?
A: Zero adjustment is performed using the push button located on the front panel. Ensure no pressure is applied to the ports, then press the button to recalibrate the display to zero.
Q: What types of gases can be measured with this gauge?
A: The Series A2 is designed to measure air and other non-corrosive gases. Avoid using it with corrosive gases or liquids, as this may damage the internal electronic sensor.
Q: When should I replace the 9V battery, and how is it done?
A: Replace the 9V battery when the LCD display dims or gives inconsistent readings. Open the battery compartment, remove the old battery, and insert a new one, ensuring correct polarity.
Q: Where can the gauge be mounted for optimal performance?
A: For best results, wall mount the device using the supplied mounting bracket. Install it in an area with a temperature range between 0C to 50C and away from direct moisture or corrosive atmospheres.
Q: What is the process for selecting the measurement unit on this gauge?
A: Users can select the pressure unit (Pa, mm H2O, or in WG) directly from the front panel by following the instructions in the manual. This allows flexible adaptation to your preferred unit of measure.
Q: What are the main benefits of using a digital differential pressure gauge over an analog model?
A: Digital gauges like the Series A2 provide faster response times, more precise readings, user-selectable units, and easier zero adjustment, all visible on a clear LCD display, reducing manual interpretation errors.
