About Digital Differential Pressure Gauge - Series A1

Digital Differential Pressure Gauge - Series A1

The Series A1 Digital Differential Pressure Gauge is a patented microprocessor based digital pressure gage for positive, negative, and differential measurement designed to be a direct replacement for mechanical gauges. The Series A1 digital differential pressure gauges utilize an extremely stable piezoresistive sensing technology to give a standard full scale accuracy of 1%. For applications requiring better accuracy, the A1 is also available with 0.5% or 0.25% accuracy. The A1 pressure gauge also has an optional 4-20 mA output for applications requiring an output signal. The A1 features a bright ½" LED display, which gives the gauge improved readability and precision. The A1 digital differential pressure gauges also feature 5 user selectable engineering units including in. w.c., mm w.c., cm w.c., kPa, and Pa. The Series A1 offers an improved look, and performance compared to mechanical gauges.

Advanced Digital Measurement for Industrial Applications

The Series A1 Pressure Gauge delivers quick and accurate differential pressure readings, designed to withstand challenging industrial environments. Its microprocessor-controlled sensor and digital LCD display offer instant data, making monitoring straightforward and reliable. The gauge accommodates wall or panel mounting, adapting seamlessly to diverse installation needs.

User-Friendly Operation & Versatile Power Options

Featuring push-button zero adjustment, intuitive unit selection, and a clear menu-driven interface, the device is exceptionally user-friendly. Power flexibility is ensured by compatibility with both 9V batteries and external DC adapters, allowing for uninterrupted measurement regardless of placement.

Reliable Safety Features and Durable Construction

With audible and visual alarms alongside an IP40 protection rating, the Series A1 prioritizes safety without compromising on durability. Constructed from robust ABS plastic and fitted with a silicone rubber seal, it withstands typical industrial demands while maintaining high precision and consistent performance.

FAQs of Digital Differential Pressure Gauge - Series A1:

Q: How do I calibrate the Digital Differential Pressure Gauge - Series A1 in the field?

A: The gauge is factory calibrated for immediate use. However, for field calibration, follow the procedure outlined in the user manual using the front-panel buttons to access and adjust the calibration menu to match your reference standards.

Q: What types of media can I measure with this gauge?

A: This gauge is designed for measuring differential pressure in air or non-corrosive gases. It is not suitable for corrosive, flammable, or liquid media.

Q: Where can I mount the Series A1 Pressure Gauge, and what accessories are included?

A: The gauge is intended for wall or panel mounting and comes with mounting brackets included in the package for easy installation at your desired location.

Q: What are the benefits of the data hold and alarm functions?

A: The data hold function allows you to freeze the current reading on the display, making it easy to record or analyze results. The audible and visual alarms alert you immediately if pressure exceeds set limits, enhancing operational safety.

Q: When does the overpressure protection come into effect, and what does it do?

A: The gauges overpressure limit is set at twice the rated pressure. If exceeded, the sensor is protected from potential damage, ensuring continued accuracy and integrity of measurements.

Q: How can I change the measurement units displayed on the gauge?

A: You can switch between Pa, mmH2O, and inH2O using the unit selection button on the front panel, allowing flexible and user-preferred readouts.

Q: What is the process for adjusting the zero point on the gauge?

A: Zero adjustment is accomplished by pressing the designated push button on the front panel, ensuring accurate baseline measurements whenever environmental or installation conditions change.
