MORE ABOUT THIS ITEM

The Magnahelic guage is the industry standard to measure fan and blower pressures, filter resistance, air velocity, furnace draft, pressure drop across orifice plates, liquid levels with bubbler systems, and pressures in fluid amplifier or fluidic systems. The gauge's motion is damped with high-viscosity silicone fluid. The zero adjustment screw is conveniently located in the plastic cover, and is accessible without removing the cover. O-ring seal provides pressure tightness. Rugged design resists shock, vibration, and overpressure.

The helix is precision-made from an alloy of high magnetic permeability. Mounted in jeweled bearings, it turns freely, following the maganetic field to move the pointer across the scale. The samarium cobalt magnet is mounted at one end of the range spring and rotates the helix without mechanical linkages.

Precision Measurement for Critical Environments

The Dwyer Magnehelic Gauge is tailored for applications demanding accurate monitoring of low-pressure gases, such as in cleanrooms, HVAC systems, and filter monitoring stations. Its robust sensor and quick response ensure real-time, reliable data for process control and safety.

Durable Design for Industrial Use

Constructed from die-cast aluminum with a textured black finish and a full-view acrylic lens, the gauge offers longevity even in harsh industrial environments. The external zero adjustment screw simplifies calibration, and the IP50 rating shields against dust and particle ingress.

Flexible Installation and User-Friendly Operation

Mount the Magnehelic Gauge easily with supplied brackets, using either the surface or flush-mount method. Two back and two side 1/8" NPT ports accommodate a variety of setups. The clearly marked analog dial and external adjustments make pressure monitoring and recalibration both straightforward and efficient.

FAQs of Dwyer USA Magnehelic Gauges 0 To 125 MM WC:

Q: How do I install the Dwyer Magnehelic Gauge model 2000-125 MM WC?

A: Installation is simple: use the supplied mounting brackets for surface or flush mounting, connect tubing to any of the two back or two side 1/8" NPT ports, and follow the included instruction sheet for guidance. Ensure all connections are secure before use.

Q: What maintenance does the Magnehelic Gauge require and how do I zero-adjust it?

A: Routine maintenance involves periodic inspection for dust or debris and verifying calibration. Zero adjustment is easily performed by turning the external screw adjustment on the gauges face to align the pointer with zero when no pressure is applied.

Q: When should the Dwyer Magnehelic Gauge be used in an HVAC system?

A: The gauge is recommended for continuous monitoring of air filter conditions, duct pressure, or room pressurization in HVAC systems. Use it whenever reliable, real-time pressure data is necessary for efficient system operation and preventive maintenance.

Q: Where can this gauge be effectively utilized beyond HVAC systems?

A: Beyond HVAC applications, the Magnehelic Gauge excels in cleanroom pressure monitoring, laboratory environments, air velocity measurement, and any setting where precise measurement of low non-corrosive gas pressure is vital.

Q: What benefits does the analog dial provide over digital alternatives?

A: An analog dial delivers immediate, easy-to-read pressure values without the need for batteries or complex electronics, ensuring reliability in industrial settings and quick pressure assessment at a glance.

Q: How does the gauge protect against overpressure or harsh environments?

A: The die-cast aluminum casing with a textured black finish and IP50 ingress protection defends against dust. It also tolerates overpressure up to 172 kPa (25 psi), maintaining accuracy and longevity in challenging conditions.
