he Series 3000MR Photohelic® Switch/Gage combine the functions of a precise, highly repeatable differential pressure switch with a large easy-to-read analog pressure gage employing the durable, time-proven Magnehelic® gage design. Switch setting is easy to adjust with large external knobs on the gage face. Gage reading is unaffected by switch operation - will indicate accurately even if power is interrupted. Solid state design now results in greatly reduced size and weight. Units can be flush mounted in 4-13/16" hole or surface mounted with hardware supplied. 3000MR models employ versatile electromechanical relays with gold over silver contacts - ideal for dry circuits.
Gage accuracy is ±2% of full scale and switch repeatability is ±1%. Switch deadband is one pointer width - less than 1% of full scale. Compatible with air and other non-combustible, non-corrosive gases, they can be used in systems with pressures to 25 psig.

Robust Industrial PerformanceDesigned for rigorous environments, the Dwyer 3000MR Photohelic features a precision-molded, die-cast aluminum case with a polycarbonate bezel and dial. It resists overpressure up to 40 kPa and guarantees reliable operation from -6C to 60C (20 to 140F). The gauge offers 2% full-scale accuracy, making it suitable for industrial monitoring and control tasks.
Flexible Control and MeasurementThis switch/gauge provides both panel and surface mounting options, utilizing an analog display and straightforward side connections (1/8 NPT female). Its SPDT switches have two adjustable setpoints for versatile process integration, offering instantaneous mechanical response. This ensures precise pressure monitoring and immediate actuation for various HVAC and process applications.
Ease of Integration and OperationSupplied with mounting hardware and an instruction manual, the 3000MR is designed for easy installation and intuitive operation. Factory calibration ensures accurate readings out of the box, while the analog dial allows for quick visual verification. Its compact size and lightweight construction facilitate seamless integration into control panels and ductwork.
FAQs of Dwyer 3000MR Photohelic,Switch/Gauge 0 to 3kpa:
Q: How does the Dwyer 3000MR Photohelic assist in monitoring and controlling air pressure systems?
A: The 3000MR Photohelic simultaneously measures differential air pressure and activates electrical circuits at user-set thresholds. This dual functionality allows it to both display pressure values on its analog gauge and trigger control systemssuch as fans, blowers, or alarmswhen set pressures are reached.
Q: What applications are best suited for this switch/gauge?
A: It excels in industrial settings for monitoring fan, blower, filter, and duct pressures. Its dual SPDT switch capability makes it an ideal choice for automated feedback or safety interlocks in HVAC, cleanroom, and control panel environments.
Q: When should the setpoints be adjusted on the 3000MR?
A: Setpoints should be configured during installation or routine maintenance, depending on the specific pressure levels that need to control or trigger system responses. Adjustments are made manually to tailor the device to particular process requirements.
Q: Where should the Dwyer 3000MR be installed for optimal performance?
A: The device should be panel mounted or surface mounted near the point of measurement, using the supplied bracket and screws. Side connection ports make it suitable for easy integration within ducts or control panels. Ensure it is protected from direct water spray to maintain IP52 integrity.
Q: What process is involved in calibrating the gauge?
A: Each Dwyer 3000MR comes factory calibrated, so typically no further adjustment is required. If recalibration is necessary after extended use, it should be performed according to procedures in the instruction manual or by qualified personnel.
Q: How is the instant response time beneficial for pressure control?
A: The instantaneous mechanical response of the SPDT switches ensures that as soon as set pressures are reached, electrical contacts open or close without delay, providing immediate feedback or actuation. This rapid response enhances process safety and accuracy.
Q: What are the key benefits of using a factory-calibrated, industrial-grade instrument like the 3000MR Photohelic?
A: Factory calibration provides reliable and precise measurement from installation. Its industrial-grade materials and construction offer durability and resilience in demanding settings, while the textured black housing ensures longevity and professional appearance.
